Menssana is NGO from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, established in 2012. Ever since, we are successfully working on our main goal – to associate and connect users of mental health services into empowering network, and to connect them with mental health professionals. We attempt to create optimal environment for development of individuals and local community in quality and healthy living. We have significant projects behind us in a field of promotion and protection of mental health through actions arising from an interdisciplinary approach of related scientific and professional disciplines, and of course from living experience of people who are users of mental health services. Considering specific problems of B&H society – fragmentation of social and health protection services and high level of trauma – we represent significant link between people with mental health issues and structures that should provide them adequate services.
